“REJUVENATE WITH RAW FOOD”
Can a high raw diet keep you looking and feeling young?
Can it reverse some of the age related changes that have already taken place in your body?
Does raw food have the powers to rejuvenate?
The answer to all three questions is YES!
We know that a high raw food diet bolsters the immune system and provides our bodies with protection against degeneration and acute diseases. Raw food probably contains other anti-aging factors besides the anti-oxidents that we know about.
All in all, the changes which take place when you eat a high raw food diet speak for themselves.* Skin loses its slackness and puffiness and seems to cling to the bones better. The true shape of the face emerges where once it was obscured by excess water retention and poor circulation.* Lines become softer.* Eyes take on the clarity and brighness one usually associates with children or with super fit athletes.
The rejuvenation that can be achieved on a high raw food diet is not superficial, not just skin deep… It happens at the physiological and biochemical level as well.
In the diet-orientated clinics of Europe a high raw food diet has been shown capable of healing many of the degenerative diseases associated with aging. Impotence, which tends to increase with age, rectifies itself… Flagging sexual interest rekindles… Raw diets are even said to reduce the severity of senile dementia.
Diets based on fresh raw vegetables, fruit, seeds, nuts and a few dairy products and the occasional piece of fish or meat, are low in calories and low in protein. The importance of both these lows can not be emphasised enough!
When you eat most of your food raw you do not need so many calories. Nor do you want to eat as much as you would on a normal diet. This is partly because a high raw food diet contains such a lot of fibre and partly because it does not overstimulate the digestive system and make you want to eat more and more.
Low calorie diets can extend normal lifespans by as much as 300% and retard the process of aging.
Low protein diets discourage the build up of toxic wastes in our tissues.
Therefore, we will live longer and healthier lives if our diets are rich in essential nutrients – vitamins, minerals, fibre, essential fatty acids etc. BUT low in calories.
Have you ever noticed that primitive cultures live on a low calorie diet, a diet rich in fresh uncooked foods. And there is very little degenerative diseases in these cultures and they look fabulous for their ages and they live long healthy lives! But there is one secret we are missing… their diets are also low in protein. This is the key to rejuvenation and longevity!
So how much protein is enough??? Well, for maximum rejuvenation and protection against degenerative diseases the recommended daily intake is 56g for men and 46g for women providing you are eating a high raw food diet with it. It is not just the quantity of protein that matters, but the quality.
Now that you know all this information, why aren’t you doing something about your diet now? Let me reassure you that after a few weeks of high raw food eating you will naturally want to eat less. You will feel fuller on raw food because they contain a lot of fibre and because they give you a high complement of essential nutrients. Your body will not constantly cry out for more. Those awful cravings which lead to excessive eating and obesity will be gone. You will look rejuvenated and feel young in mind, spirit and body!
